2008 Tibbits Professional Summer Theatre Auditions

Actors

The Tibbits Summer Theatre attends the United Professional Theatre Auditions in Memphis, TN and the Midwest Theatre Auditions in St Louis, MO.  If you have not attended either of these unified calls, you may arrange an audition at the Opera House.  Ideally prepare a comic monologue from the modern repertory.  Two contrasting vocal selections (in the style of what is being presented that summer) are also required. Please have accompaniment on tape or disc as no pianist is on staff until the summer.

All design and technical positions are listed on backstagejobs.com.  They will be posted by mid February.

Local Auditions For children

Local auditions will be held for young women from 10 -13 years of age for the three roles in The Goodbye Girl set for Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Tibbits Opera House .  Please stop by the Tibbits Administrative Offices, 93 West Chicago, in advance to pick up a monolgue and song for the audition. There are no other roles for children in this summer season.  All performers under 18 are not eligible for compensation.
