Tibbits’ final summer show is ‘enjoyable comedy’

After the dynamic energy of the past two musicals, it was a nice change of pace to sit back with a simple comedy about families and relationships.
The cast delivers strong and believable characters creating a scenario we have all heard about if we haven’t experienced it ourselves.

“Alone Together” is an amusing play, recognizable to any parent who has done their 18 years and isn’t too keen on overtime. The cast delivers the laughs and the drama, capping a very accomplished season for the Tibbits Summer Theatre.

Once you’ve become a parent, is the nest ever truly empty? Even after you think the chicks have all flown the coop?
Tibbits Summer Theatre closes out its season with “Alone Together,” a 1984 comedy about a couple that is sending its third son off to college and is finally looking forward to getting some time alone as an adult couple without the cares of parenting.
