Tibbits Opera Foundation and Arts Council has recognized Dr. Matthew Christopher DDS as an outstanding supporter of the Arts.
Both personally and professionally Dr. Matthew Christopher has supported Tibbits in many different ways. In addition to being a corporate member since 2012, the dental office has sponsored Tibbits Popcorn Theatre since 2015. They will be sponsoring this year’s production of “Shiver and Shake,” July 27, 28, August 3 and 4.
Dr. Christopher has supported both the golf and auction fundraisers for the historic theatre. Over the past year they supported the Kids Art Rocks project leasing student art for both their Coldwater and Union City offices. He is now also stepping up to sponsor Tibbits Classic Film series for 2018-2019, but starting with John Wayne’s Way the double feature on May 26.
Matt and Alice Christopher consider Tibbits to be Coldwater’s gem and truly believe in the importance of corporate support. Alice says, “We love all that Tibbits does for youth. We love the summer stock. We love Popcorn Theatre which is wonderful for introducing kids to theatre.”
The Christophers have personally helped house for summer theatre. Both of their daughters have also become involved: Isabel in Tibbits Young Audiences shows and Alison participated in the T-Tab Talent Show last month.
According to Dr. Christopher, “Not many communities have the kind of opportunities and the facilities Tibbits offers.” He adds, “It’s an institution and we should be supporting it.”
