“The Fox on the Fairway” Cast Keeps Audiences Laughing

Kerr & Schulte Return to Tibbits for “Fox on the Fairway”

 

Paul Kerr (center) returns to the Tibbits stage for “The Fox on the Fairway,” which also features Alan Elliott and Isaac Jankowski.

 

The names Paul Kerr and Donna Schulte are old favorites here at the Tibbits, and we are thrilled to have them back this summer!  Our final summer show blog will feature them as they tackle the comedy “The Fox on the Fairway.”

MEET KERR & SCHULTE

 

Tibbits 2017: Fox on the Fairway (Various Tibbits Summers beginning in ’88).

Favorite Tibbits Roles: Charlie in The Foreigner, Harold Hill in The Music Man, Pseudolous in Forum…, Noah in Two by Two, Herbie in Gypsy, Bill Sykes in Oliver!, Mr. Laurence in Little Women. Tibbits Directing Credits: Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Rapunzel, Emperor’s New Clothes.

Training: Academy of Dramatic Art (Meadowbrook Theatre). “Thanks to all the wonderful Tibbits audiences, thanks to Christine Delaney, all my affection to my old friend Charles Burr, Big Love to fellow Tibbits alumni…my wife Kiersten Vorheis and future Tibbits alumni…my son Sullivan Kerr.”

 

Tibbits 2017:  Damn Yankees, The Fox on the Fairway (Many Seasons since 1986).

At Tibbits:  Grandma in The Addams Family, Steel Magnolias, Harvey, Blithe Spirit, Grace and Glorie, Arsenic and Old Lace, You Can’t Take it With You, Cemetery Club, Music Man, Love Letters and several others.

Favorite Roles:  Aunt Martha Brewster, Arsenic and Old Lace, Veta Louise Simmons, Harvey,  Melissa Gardner, Love Letters, Doris Silverman, Cemetery Club, Eulalie McKechnie Shinn, Music Man.  But my two favorite roles were Ouiser Boudreaux, Steel Magnolias, and Grace Stiles, Grace and Glorie.

Training: Baylor University, Waco, TX.   “I am so happy to be back at the theater I called home for so many years.  Thank you Charles for bringing me back.  And thanks to friends and family for their love and support, and to Ed–I will love and miss you forever.”
