Opening this Thursday, June 15, is the first production of the 2017 Tibbits Summer Theatre season, The Cemetery Club.
Both funny and touching, this story is of three widows who meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husbands’ graves. Ida is sweet-tempered and ready to begin a new life, Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun, and Doris is priggish and judgmental, interfering with the sweet- tempered Ida as she attempts to move on and start a new life.
“Very touching and humorous. An evening of pure pleasure that will make you glad you went to the theatre.” -Washington Journal Newspapers
