Taking the best of last year’s event and incorporating an option for those who are not night owls, allowed Tibbits golf committee to once again offer a unique golf event to support Tibbits Opera House. The evening on the course will begin at 6 pm and include an appetizer tent, a cash bar, games, raffles, and friends! The title sponsor this year is Chemical Bank.
According to Diane Ramirez, Chemical Bank’s Marshall Community Bank President, “Chemical Bank is honored to be a part of this wonderful event to benefit Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater. Not only are we excited to help support an important part of our community’s history, but we are also delighted to assist in preserving this local theater. We look forward to all of the upcoming events at the Tibbits Opera house!”
To get the evening off to full swing, the committee is seeking sponsorship from local businesses.
Golf Committee Chair Ray Sebastian says, “Tibbits and the Golf Committee appreciate all of the support from the community, local businesses, and golfers for this important fundraiser for Tibbits. We believe this year’s outing will attract even more players and add to the success of past events.” The 2016 committee includes Ray Sebastian, Mike Beckwith, Dylan Foster, Daniel Gordon, Jeff Paarlberg, Adam Cappella, and Amy Crabtree.
Sponsorship opportunities include event sponsors and hole sponsors. Event sponsors include food tent sponsors, beverage station sponsor, scoreboard sponsor, game sponsors, and early evening golf ball sponsor. Businesses can gain exposure through signage at the event and their logo in the golf Par-Tee brochure, on the Tibbits website, in media releases, and in social media. Hole sponsors are $100. By sponsoring a hole, businesses will receive an individual sign on the greens for all passing golfers to see. Businesses that would prefer to promote a product or service are encouraged to donate a door prize or become a door prize sponsor.
Golfers have a choice of nine holes of early evening golf at $50 per person, nine holes of night golf at $50 per person, or play both for 18 hole for $75 per person. Teams of four are also welcome at $200 for nine holes of early evening or night golf or $300 per team for 18 holes.
Event sponsors for 2016 who have already committed include Chemical Bank, the Foundation Golf Center, Culligan Water, Studio 17, and Dean Insurance.
Any support businesses are able to give is greatly appreciated. If interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Tibbits, 517-278-6029 or a member of the committee.
