My last birthday was a big one. I don’t care too much about age, but those birthdays which advance you into the next decade always make you stop and think.
So I invited the best selling fiction author of all time to my dressing room for any advice about dealing with age. (After all, Will turns 453 today.)
Mr. Shakespeare was silent for a long time. Then, looking at me steadily in the mirror, he replied with what I was pretty sure was a quote from his own The Merchant of Venice:
“With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come.”
I nodded. I could do that.
Happy Birthday, Will!
