MEET THE CAST

Gloria Logan

Gloria Logan: Actor Tibbits 2019: Be My Baby and See How They Run.  25+ seasons.  At Tibbits: Crazy for You, Anything Goes, The Dixie Swim Club, Always a Bridesmaid, The Fox on the Fairway and many others.  Favorite Roles:  Gloria in Grace & Glorie at The Village Theatre & Tibbits; Clariee in Steel Magnolias at The Kentucky Repertory & Tibbits; Golde in Fiddler on the Roof at The Red Barn and Dominos; Melissa in Love Letters at the Hulce Center for the Arts, Bessie in Marvin’s Room, Maria in Lend Me A Tenor and Aunt Eller in Oklahoma! at Tibbits. Training: M.A. from E. M. U. and recipient of the University Distinguished Alumna Award, a Theater was named in her honor in 2000 and she was twice named Michigan’s Theatre Teacher of the Year. “It’s always a pleasure to return to the Tibbits–to be able to work in this wonderful historic theater is a joy and a privilege.  Love and gratitude to hubby Norm and Coldwater host Joanne Dean.”

Matthew C. Scott: Actor, Director Tibbits 2019:  Be My Baby, West Side Story, Directing Pinocchio.  1st season.  Favorite roles: John Dickinson in 1776, The Baker in Into the Woods and the Reverend Mother in Nunsense A-Men.  Training: Regent University Grad studies. “After all these years, I am finally looking forward to working and setting foot on the Tibbits stage.”

Chad Tallon

Chad Tallon: Actor Tibbits 2019:  Be My Baby, Joseph…Dreamcoat, West Side Story, See How They Run.  5th season.  At Tibbits:   Thurston in Greater Tuna, Amos in Chicago, Henry Perkins in Funny Money and Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar.  “I would like to thank Charles and Christine for the opportunity to perform on this beautiful, historic stage. And thank YOU for coming out and supporting live theatre. Enjoy the show! For Dad and Bob.”

Bailey Kote: Actor Tibbits 2019Be My Baby, Joseph…Dreamcoat, The Wind in the Willows, West Side Story, Pinocchio.  2nd season.  At Tibbits: Damn Yankees, Footloose, Puss in Boots, The Troll and the Elephant Prince.  Favorite Roles: Wendy Jo in Footloose at the Tibbits, Clarice in West Side Story and Tricia in A Chorus Line at Cortland Repertory Theater. Training: BFA Musical Theatre- Rider University Class of 2020.  “Thank you to Charles, Kevin, and Dougie for inviting me back to the Tibbits stage. Love to my family, friends and boyfriend for their constant encouragement and support.”

Max Gonzalez

Max Gonzalez: Actor Tibbits 2019: Be My Baby, Joseph…Dreamcoat, West Side Story, See How They Run. 2nd season.  At Tibbits: Jesus Christ Superstar, Last of the Dragons and Shiver and Shake. Favorite Roles: Tedeschino in The Buffoons, Freddy Rodriguez in Working, Mark Cohen in Rent, and Stanley Jerome in Brighton Beach MemoirsTraining: New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts at the New Studio on Broadway.  “Special thanks to my family, friends, and Gray Talent for the constant support.  Rest in peace, Malcom Miller.”

Charles Burr

Charles Burr: Artistic Director, Director Tibbits 2019:  Be My Baby, Goldilocks, See How They Run. 37th Season. At Tibbits: The Look of Love, Run For Your Wife, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and 90 other productions. Favorite Roles: Captain Hook in Peter Pan, Arvide in Guys and Dolls, Elwood in Harvey and Moonface in Anything Goes. Favorite Productions: “Whatever I’m working on.” Training: Eastern Michigan University. “I still get a thrill stepping on this stage. Thanks, Bobb, for making me audition here all those years ago.

Rachel Lucas: Scenic Artist Tibbits 2019: Be My Baby, Joseph…Dreamcoat, West Side Story, See How They Run. 2nd Season.  At Tibbits: Jesus Christ Superstar, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Resident Alien. Favorite Productions: A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at Tibbits, Spamalot, Into the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors at VCU.  Training: Virginia Commonwealth University.  “Nothing will ever top the joy I get from seeing my work onstage; thank you to everyone who has pushed me to keep doing what I love.”

Marie Green: Shop Manager, Costume Designer Tibbits 2019:  Be My Baby, West Side Story. 2nd Season.  At Tibbits: Popcorn Theatre Costume Designer 2018.  Favorite ProductionsCharlotte’s Web at Tibbits, Love’s Labour’s Lost: The Musical and Rhinoceros at Webster University.  Training:  Recent Grad of Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. “Huge thank you to all the people who have helped my get to this point: my parents, friends back home and my Tibbits family. I am excited to spend another great summer in Michigan!”

Catie Blencowe: Lighting Designer Tibbits 2019Be My Baby, Joseph…Dreamcoat, West Side Story, See How They Run.  3rd season.  At Tibbits: Mixed Emotions, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Resident Alien, The Cemetery Club, Damn Yankees, Footloose, The Fox on the Fairway (3rd season). Favorite ProductionsThe Rocky Horror Show at Sam Houston State University, Macbeth at The Young Actors Guild, Angels in America: Millennium Approaches at The University of Arkansas. Cheyenne Glassburn: Properties Tibbits 2019: Be My Baby, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, See How They Run.  2nd Season.  At Tibbits: Carpenter for Mixed Emotions, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Resident Alien.  Favorite Productions: A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at Tibbits Opera House.  Training: Eastern Michigan University.“’Sometimes we have to go deep inside ourselves to solve our problems’ – Patrick Star”

Cori Keto: Stage Manager Tibbits 2019: PSM of Be My Baby and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, ASM of West Side Story and See How They Run. 1st season.  Favorite Productions: Next to Normal at The Rhinebeck Center for Performing Arts, The Aliens at Purchase College, and The Little Mermaid at Prairie Repertory Theatre.  Training: BFA in Theatre Design/Technology from Purchase College.  “Live the life you have imagined. I certainly am this summer.”
