Grand Rapids Ballet Master Classes Scheduled

COLDWATER, MI—

A two-day Artist in Residence program of the Grand Rapids Ballet is coming to Coldwater in February thanks to the Tibbits Opera Foundation and Young Michigan Dances.

On Thursday, February 21, area dancers will have a chance to participate in Master Classes given by the Grand Rapids Ballet, the only professional ballet company in Michigan.

The Master Classes are being offered on Thursday, February 21, at 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. for ages 8 to 11 (Beginner Level to Level 2) and from 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. for ages 12 and up (Level 3 and up) at the Armory Building on East Chicago Street directly behind the Tibbits Opera House.

The cost is $10.00 for Branch County dancers and $15.00 for all others. This cost includes one free student ticket for the 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, performance of the Grand Rapids Ballet at Tibbits with the purchase of a full-price adult ticket.

Register for the Master Classes by calling Tibbits at 517-278-6029 or by stopping at the Tibbits administrative offices at 93 East Chicago Street, Coldwater, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Payment is required at the time of registration and all participants must have ballet slippers to participate.
