Tibbits
Summer Theatre announces a fantastic Popcorn Theatre Season for Summer 2008. Popcorn
Theatre is, for some of our younger patrons, their first introduction
to live theatre. We continue to entertain youngsters from all
over the tri-state area with our exceptional programming at a
very affordable price. The anticipation of our popcorn and juice
intermission adds to the experience. Children are invited and
encouraged to get up close and personal with the cast after each
performance for autograph signing.

Bunyan and Banjoes
A journey through Michigan’s history led award winning songwriter and performer Kitty Donohoe to write and discover songs about the "Mitten State". The songs cover a wide range of subject matter; from making maple syrup to the logging and lumberjack era, voyageurs, the rivers and waterways of Michigan, the Mackinac Bridge, and many more. The music program is also laced with great Michigan stories such as the classic tales of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. Kitty is a multi-instrumentalist and will be using the banjo, guitar, mountain and hammered dulcimers and a concertina to present this unique look at the Great Lake State.
