VolunteeringMore than 300 people are volunteers at Tibbits Opera House. From ushering to stuffing envelopes, volunteers are one of the most important segments of Tibbits. Why do they do it?
GET INVOLVED!Volunteers are essential to the efficient operation of the Tibbits Opera House, and we are grateful for your interest in joining our theatre family! The Tibbits provides a variety of opportunities for involvement: ushers, gardening, maintenance, deliveries, costume shop, office work, scrap booking, special events, carpentry, etc. We are always looking for newcomers and we encourage everyone to become involved with the “gem” of Branch County. Join Tibbits BoostersThe Tibbits Boosters has been formed to organize the many volunteers and fund-raisers so that "many hands can make light work." It allows each person to be as involved as he or she would like to be. There are no required meetings or set time commitments.
Volunteer Ushers See the Show for FREE!Ushers hand out programs, take tickets and assist patrons in locating their seats. But best of all, ushers get to see the show for free! Administrative VolunteersMailings are an important and vital part of Tibbits communication to the surrounding communities. We are always in need of extra hands to label, stuff and seal envelopes. This volunteer job is ideal for someone who understands communication is vital to our growth.
