A Classic Vampire Flick and Synth Punk Rock Make Tibbits 2024 Monster Fest a Must-See Event!

COLDWATER – Tibbits Opera House will embrace the Halloween spirit with an unforgettable evening of live music and a cult classic film at Monster Fest 2024, on October 12. The event kicks off with a performance by the synth punk band Loser Candy at 8:30 p.m., followed by a screening of the 1986 vampire favorite The Lost Boys at 9:00 p.m.

Loser Candy, influenced by post-punk icons Joy Division and The Velvet Underground, will open the night with their unique blend of synth punk infused with blues and American folk elements, offering an energetic and genre-defying start to the evening. The band’s eclectic sound is sure to set the mood for a night of thrills.

Following the concert, at 9:00 p.m., The Lost Boys will transport audiences back to the 1980s, blending horror and humor in a timeless tale of teenage rebellion and vampires.
