ARTS ALIVE SEEKING ARTISTS, MUSICIANS & VENDORS FOR ARTWALK & VINTAGE MARKET
COLDWATER – Arts Alive’s expanded ArtWalk and Vintage Market Saturday, July 20 offers opportunities artists, musicians, street performers, vintage and antiques dealers, repurposers, chalk artists, magicians and others seeking to exhibit their talents.
The juried outdoor festival will fill downtown Coldwater with art and activities from 3-7:30pm. South Monroe Street will feature a variety of fine and performing artists. Organizers expect to line the street with woodworkers, painters, sculptors, photographers, chalk artists, musicians and more. The southwest corner of the Four Corners Park will be filled with a community drum circle and a kids’ zone, offering “make-and-take” artistic opportunities for youngsters of all ages. Chandler Plaza, the parking lot between South Monroe Street and the Four Corners Park, will have a market area for antique dealers, vintage vendors, and sellers of repurposed furniture among other items. Also, food trucks along Chicago Street (US-12) will offer a variety of fare from BBQ to hot dogs to a selection of comfort food.
Those interested in reserving a 10’x10’ booth at $40 for the ArtWalk or Vintage Market should fill out a registration form (available at Tibbits.org/shows-events/art/) and send it along with samples of their work to artsalivecw@gmail.com to be considered by the committee. Those who reserve spaces need to provide their own pop-up tents, chairs and tables. Performing artists should also send samples or links of their work to artsalivecw@gmail.com.
“We know that a vibrant arts community leads to economic prosperity. Arts Alive is committed to bringing arts opportunities to the downtown area, and we are really excited with the changes that we’re making to this community event,” said Arts Alive board member Stephanie Burdick. She added, “We already have some great artists, food trucks, and activities lined up.”
