The director’s notes for the opening show of the 51st season of Tibbits Summer Theatre in Coldwater calls “The Look of Love” a “stroll through the jukebox of your life.” With these captivating words, director and producer Charles Burr describes the songs of Burt Bacharach and Hal David as “the sound of a whole generation.” These words strike at the truth of the importance of the Bacharach/David song-writing duo from the late 1950s through the 1980s. As a loving tribute, six performers feature nearly 40 songs by the duo in this tour de force revue masterminded by Burr.
