Picture a cranky, old man whose live-in college-age grandson has convinced his grandfather to reluctantly turn the family home into a BnB. Enter their first guest, an enthusiastic young woman who does her thinking out loud while also carrying on conversation. Her quest is to decorate the world in Christmas themes one house at a time, or at the very least, the set of an upcoming, made-for-TV movie being filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. Their paths converge because of a mutual friend (ex-nun) who is a neighbor to the grandfather. Misadventure begins with a case of food poisoning and missed deadlines to dress the movie set, making for a very unhappy and frustrated production manager and a husband who comes from Amarillo, Texas looking for his “Noel” consumed wife. The banter is lively and sometimes quite sharp. The “edges” start softening and emotional bonds start to form. And yes, Christmas is saved. “A Very Holly Moosemas” is for the whole family.
