Tibbits School Programming presents Coding to the Moon

Due to the Governor’s decision on 04/02/20 to suspend face-to-face learning for the rest of the year, we have canceled our spring school programming performances. We will reschedule for spring 2021 and let you know as soon as we have new dates. We look forward to bringing you and your students live performances again soon!

Wild Swan Theatre

Coding to the Moon is a gripping drama of the Apollo space missions. This production celebrates the life and work of mathematician and computer scientist Margaret Hamilton whose brilliant work as a young scientist broke new ground as she led the team that navigated the Apollo missions to the moon. Enrich your experience with additional curriculum-aligned materials developed in collaboration with the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, Leslie Science & Nature Center, Michigan Science Center, and UM Museum of Natural History.

Contact us to make reservations to any of these shows at Tibbits Opera House (517) 278-6029 or boxoffice@tibbits.org. Payment is based on the number of student reservations. Teachers and required chaperones are free (additional adults must pay the ticket price).
