THE SHOW WILL GO ON–but we have to adapt again. All performances of It Started With Eve will now be held at The Ponds in Coldwater, just minutes from Tibbits Opera House. We had expected the governor’s order restricting theatres from opening to have been lifted. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Your ticket will be automatically transferred to the new location. The Ponds offers a secluded, sheltered outdoor setting with both space for social distancing and privacy to enjoy an intimate performance. Don’t forget your mask!
There is plenty of parking available and golf carts will be available to help transport patrons to the pavilion where the performance will take place.
And now for something entirely different: Four short one-act plays by Mark Twain (adapted by Ron Fitzgerald), Dorothy Parker, Ferenc Molnar and David Ives. All look at love—how it changes (or not!)— whether you are in the Garden of Eden, a Pullman car on your honeymoon, backstage at the theatre or at the high-end coffee shop. These short plays, presented as a fully-staged reader’s theater production, prove good things come in small packages.
We are practicing social distancing, including adding Plexiglas at points of sale and taking additional cleaning steps to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff.
We encourage those who are able to wear a mask.
