BI-ANNUAL ART WALK IN DOWNTOWN COLDWATER
COLDWATER –Arts Alive, an organization that hosts gallery exhibitions, organizes art walks and other art related community events in Coldwater, MI is hosting a Fall Art walk in conjuncture with the Coldwater Chamber of Commerce this Friday, November 14, 2014. Enjoy art and music at a variety of downtown businesses from 5pm – 8 pm.
Businesses hosting artists, musicians and activities include Airway Oxygen, Chicago Ave. Boutique, Dally Tire Co., Kiess Jewelry, North Woods Coffee Co., Pure Earth, Shemel’s Carpet & Interiors, Taylor’s Stationers, Tibbits Opera House and Wilbur’s Furniture.
Come out, see photography by Chad Danial Ruhl, and sip on cider from Showcase Gardens at Dally Tire Co. Listen to music by Erin Wood at Airway Oxygen. Enjoy beer and wine tasting at Pure Earth and get a henna tattoo by artist Sarah Rogers. Get your own caricature drawn by Laura Loveberry and listen to music by the Musolff’s. You will find an array of mediums and artists at Chicago Ave. Boutique from the Arts Alive group as well as artists featured at Blue Hat Coffee Co. Encounter these activities and more until 8pm. Finish up the evening with a late night dinner and live music by Delbert Walling at Lamplighter Bar & Grill.
Be sure you grab a stamp card from one of the businesses on the stop. Get all the stamps and turn your card in at the last stop for a chance to win one of two $50 DBA gift certificates. “This is a great way to get out and support local artists and businesses and interact with community members,” says Nicole Steel, Executive Director, Coldwater Chamber of Commerce.
