TIBBITS POPCORN THEATRE RETURNS WITH “BEAUTY AND THE LONELY BEAST”
COLDWATER – An enchanted castle, a cursed prince, and a beautiful maiden: “Beauty and the Lonely Beast,” the first Tibbits Popcorn Theatre production since 2019, will open on the Tibbits stage June 17.
This enchanting and magical story tells the beloved lesson that things may not be as they appear, and beauty truly is only skin deep! Beautiful but feisty Beauty rescues her father only to find herself a prisoner in the castle of a monstrous Beast. The Beast must earn her love to break the curse which hides the prince inside.
Making up the professional cast of “Beauty and the Lonely Beast” is Dominic Green as the Beast/Prince, Rachel Schoenecker as Beauty, Gianna Branca as fairy godmother, Dennis Dizon as Belle’s father, Liz Davis and Annie Ross as stepsisters. New to Tibbits, Demetria Thomas takes the helm as the director of this show; with music direction by Lori Hatfield; (additional) music direction, arrangements, orchestrations, and recordings by Matthew Everingham; and choreography by Dennis Dizon. Production staff features scenic design by Maddy Byrnes, light design by Tyler Evans, costume design by Alexander Estes, properties by Liz Reaves, and Lori Wagoner as stage manager.
