Tibbits Presents Cabarets at Local Restaurants

COLDWATER – Tibbits Summer Theatre takes the show on the road teaming with three area restaurants for a dinner and music performance featuring members of its professional summer company.

The cabaret performances will be presented Monday, July 15 at Olivia’s Chop House in Jonesville, Tuesday July 16 at Schuler’s in Marshall, and Wednesday, July 17 at Sutton’s Deli in Angola, IN. The performance will feature actors from the summer cast who will sing a collection of contemporary and classic Broadway songs.

Each restaurant will offer a different experience based on its strengths.  The performance begins after salad service. A choice of select entrees will be served during intermission, followed by more entertainment. Finally, enjoy a cup of coffee with dessert while meeting the cast.

Known for its fine dining experience, Olivia’s will offer a plated meal with a choice of entrees. The three options available for selection on the night of the event are a slow-roasted prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes, chicken marsala and mushroom mascarpone sauce with garlic mashed potatoes, or oven-baked salmon topped with lemon butter sauce and served with wild rice. Olivia’s is located at 205 E. Chicago St., Jonesville, MI.

Schuler’s Restaurant & Pub, a four-generation family-owned restaurant in Marshall, will feature a choice of four entrees, which includes its famous 9 oz cut of prime rib, slow-roasted in the English tradition with natural au jus; chicken parmesan with parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, house-made marinara sauce, herb buttered pasta and a fresh vegetable medley; North Atlantic salmon, marinated and topped with peppercorns; or garden primavera, consisting of fresh-grilled seasonal vegetables, bright pesto sauce parmesan cheese tossed together with a red lentil penne pasta.  Schuler’s Restaurant & Pub is located at 115 S Eagle St., Marshall, MI.

Known for its catering and now featuring its own banquet facility, Sutton’s Deli will host the final cabaret. The entrée options are grilled bone-in pork chop with barbecue peach salsa; grilled boneless rib-eye steak with compound herbal butter; roasted parmesan panko-crusted cod  with grilled corn and tomato salsa. All entrees include grilled fingerling potatoes with seasonal vegetables. Sutton’s Deli is located at 140 N Public Square, Angola, IN.

Dinner at each location begins at 6pm. Tickets for each restaurant experience are $50 per person which includes fees and gratuity. A cash bar is available but not included in the ticket price.
