Talented Teens Prepare to Entertain
COLDWATER – Students ages 11 to 18 will vie for cash prizes as they sing, dance, and perform during the “Spotlight on Teen Talent” at Tibbits Opera House on Friday, April 26 at 7:00 pm.
They will showcase their skills and compete for prizes during the annual competition, which is produced by Tibbits Theatre and Beyond (T-TAB). T-TAB produces the show as a way to give youngsters experience in the many facets of theatre including behind-the-scenes production, lighting, and sound. The group also provides middle and high school students with opportunities throughout the year to assist on stage productions, attend workshops, and promote activities at the theatre.
Participating in this year’s “Spotlight on Teen Talent” will be Daveena Moyer, Keegan Oxley, Lydia Kaniewski, Annabelle Morris, Hannah Brown, Macie Hart, Miya Rose, Abigail Burritt, Adelle Neitzert, Brayton Wintersteen, Jada Bell, Jeffrey Harvey, Macie Brown, Crysta McGlothan, Hannah Brown, Emalyn Thorp, Norah VanWagner, and Gunnar Cornwell with a variety of talents.
T-TAB director Addie Noyes explains, “The Teen Talent Show allows local teens to perform and perfect their talents in an area where performing arts opportunities are difficult to find. I am so glad to be a part of a program (T-TAB) that has so many passionate, genuine people.”
“Spotlight on Teen Talent” will take place at the historic Tibbits Opera House, located at 14 S. Hanchett St in Coldwater, MI. Tickets for the show are available in advance at Tibbits.org or can be purchased at the door on the night of the event for $5 when paying by cash/check, or $7 when paying by credit card.
