The Spotlight on Teen Talent Show is a project of Tibbits Theatre and Beyond, or T-TAB, a group of middle and high school students who enjoy theatre. The group strives to learn more about theatre through workshops, hands on experience, performance, and producing their own show. T-TAB member Kaitlyn Colyer directed the show, Ella Budd produced, and Budd emceed with Lexi Galliers. Galliers also performed the skit The Plot to Assassinate the Chase Manhatten Bank with fellow T-TAB members Bianca Hubbard, Owen Needham, and Sarah Forrister, while judges Ken Norton, Abby Donbrock, and Sarah Odom deliberated and audience votes were tallied.
Other T-TAB members filling various production and stage crew roles include Corrin Cook, Shaun Coleman, Lydia Kaniewski, Ian Hollingsworth, Conner Kaniewski, Gunnar Cornwell, Linzy Monks, Kaitlyn Colyer, Jillian McKinley, and Julia Kirk.
The group’s next activity will be the 10-Day Film Contest held in June. Any student who would like information on joining T-TAB can call Tirsha at the Tibbits at (517) 278-6029, email boxoffice@Tibbits.org, or visit the website at www.Tibbits.org.
