Tibbits Nominated for 11 Regional BroadwayWorld Awards
COLDWATER – BroadwayWorld has just announced the nominees for the 2017 Regional Awards, and Tibbits Summer Theatre has been nominated for eleven awards in eight categories.
The 2017 awards honor productions which opened between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017. Tibbits productions that have been nominated for awards include all four of their summer stock productions of The Cemetery Club, Footloose, Damn Yankees, and The Fox on the Fairway; their Popcorn Theatre production, Little Red Riding Hood & the Three Pigs; and their fall production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore.
Specific nominations for Tibbits company members include Jacob Major and Isaac Jankowski, Best Actor in a Musical; Isaac Jankowski and Alan Elliott, Best Actor in a Play; Erika Mac, Best Actress in a Play; Dougie Robbins and Kevin Halpin, Best Choreography; Charles Burr, Best Director of a Play; and Charles Burr, Best Director of a Musical. Other Tibbits nominations include their production of Love, Loss & What I Wore for Best Play and Little Red Riding Hood & the Three Pigs for Best Production for Young Adults.
