TIBBITS POPCORN THEATRE “THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS” PROMOTES TEAMWORK
COLDWATER –The story of “The Wind in the Willows” will enchant young theatre-goers with Tibbits Popcorn Theatre’s production July 12, 13, 19 and 20.
“The Wind in the Willows” is a tale of a group of animal friends who live in the English countryside and go on many adventures. The story kicks off when Mole (Brooke Jackson) becomes bored and decides to visit his friend and practical water rat, Ratty (Jenniellen Withers) at the riverbank. After spring and summer end, Mole and Ratty decide to visit the irrepressible and boastful Mr. Toad (Bailey Kote), owner of Toad Hall. Toad invites them on his adventures to try out his new toys but he ends up destroying them. Mole and Ratty then decide to visit their other friend, Badger (Kat Katona) where they tell him all about Toad and his destructive behavior. The three friends come back to talk to Toad but find out that while he was out, a family of weasels (Priscilla Greco, Etta Grover and Crismeldy Segura) has taken Toad Hall hostage. The four friends must work together to get the weasels out of Toad’s home.
The cast of “The Wind in the Willows” features Tibbits professional company actors. Sean Noonan directs with design staff featuring scenic design by Leon Kriser, light design by Connor Beattie, costume design by Ariel Smith O’Neal, properties by Sarah Gens, and Rachel Marengere as stage manager.
This show is sponsored by Matthew C. Christopher, DDS, PC, who has supported Tibbits as a show sponsor since 2012. Dr. Christopher and Associates have established high standards for quality dental care performed by a caring, experienced, diversified staff of professionals which includes two general dentists, four hygienists, and one endodontist.
Due to this experience, nearly all dental cases are handled in their office saving patients time and money. They have convenient locations in Coldwater and Union City, Michigan, and provide both extended and emergency hours. They take pride in treating very young children and encourage all parents to have their child’s first dental visit by the age of one. They also have the ability to treat children needing extensive dental work in a hospital setting. Both Dr. Christopher and his wife Alice consider Tibbits to be Coldwater’s gem and truly believe in the importance of corporate support.
According to Dr. Christopher, “Not many communities have the kind of opportunities and the facilities Tibbits offers.” He adds, “It’s a valuable institution we are proud to support.”
