Tibbits Summer Theatre Nominated for Three Wilde Awards

The 2016 Tibbits Summer Theatre performance of The Addams Family – A New Musical Comedy has been nominated for three of Encore Michigan’s Wilde Awards.

COLDWATER-Encore MI has just named Tibbits Summer Theatre as a nominee for the 2017 Wilde Awards, Michigan’s professional theatre equivalent of the Tony Awards.

Each August, Encore MI recognizes the best performances and productions of the previous season. This year’s Wilde Awards ceremony is scheduled for August 28 at 8 p.m. at the Berman Center for the Performing Arts, 6600 W. Maple Road, West Bloomfield.

The 2016 Tibbits Summer Theatre performance of The Addams Family – A New Musical Comedy has been nominated for three awards. Nominees from the Tibbits Summer Theatre company include Jennifer Barnaba for Best Performance, Lead Actress in a Musical; Dougie Robbins, Best Choreography; and Daniel Thobias, Best Set Design.

Tibbits Summer Theatre has an outstanding reputation for their professional summer stock company; USA Today even called the Tibbits one of the “10 great places to see the lights way off Broadway.” Their summer season continues by showcasing the rock and roll musical Footloose July 27-Aug. 5 and then the charming adventure The Fox on the Fairway Aug. 10 -19.
