Tibbits Young Audiences Cast Members Perform for Local Groups
COLDWATER – Cast members of Tibbits Young Audiences musical Tied to the Tracks recently delighted several local groups with a preview of their show, which will take the Tibbits stage later this month.
Since 2012, TYA cast members have gone on the road with a selection of songs and choreography for their upcoming performance. Affectionately knicknamed “The Wagon Train Adventure” this year, Tibbits Young Audiences co-director Julia Littley arranged for Tied to the Tracks cast members consisting of Logan Foster, Elizabeth Rogovich, Katherine Rogovich, Molly Foster, Lexi Galliers, Ryan Smith, Kendra Bills, Kailey Bond, Colton LaFountain, Sonya Vorce, Lily Roscoe, Devin Dosier, Jeffery Harvey, Anna-Marie Vorce, Rachel Rutz, Lydia Kaniewski, Bianca Hubbard, Corrin Cook, Alex Stewart, Conner Kaniewski, and Dane Pickell to perform at three local “wagon train” stops: The Kiwanis Club, Drew’s Place, and Maple Lawn.
Producer Tirsha Odisher said, “We perform for the Kiwanis Club members as a thank you for sponsoring the TYA program. They’ve been supporting this program for years and we really appreciate it. The residents at Drew’s Place and Maple Lawn love seeing the kids perform and it helps the kids because this is a way for them to fine-tune the production by getting some feedback.”
The entire cast, consisting of almost 50 students in grades 4-8, will perform the full show of Tied to the Tracks on March 23 and 24 at 7pm and March 25 at 2pm. General admission tickets are only $5 and are currently available from cast members, online at www.Tibbits.org, or at the door before performances. All online and credit card purchases have an additional $2 processing fee per ticket. All performances will take place at the historic Tibbits Opera House, located at 14 S. Hanchett St. in Coldwater, MI.
